  • Terrapin are distributing thousands of brochures to call centres in the next two months and ZEN AT WORK has a centre page workshop advertised in it.
  • Accounts and HR Managers will be reading all about our services in their internal magazines next year too. Thanks to Karin Kruger for organising the PR for this.
Members Area
  • You have been given access to the Members Area of our website. In there you will find behind the scenes stuff that will help you work better with us on jobs. Information includes our contract that all practitioners must complete before commencing on any work for us. A copy of our latest Service Fees and Procedures Schedule which gives you handy hints on how to invoice us, what to do if you can’t make an appointment etc. As well as the questionnaires that we ask clients about the work that you have done for us, and archived copies of these newsletters.
  • To get into this area click on the Members Area of our website. You will be asked to enter your logon and password. For ease, both of these have been set to your full name e.g. John Smith and John Smith. It is case sensitive so make sure that the first letter of your first name and surname start with a capital letter and that there is one space gap between the names. If you do have any problems logging on let us know.
Forthcoming Jobs And Opportunities
Massage: Sydney
  • Our planned December promotion of massages at cafes has been moved to after the Xmas break. We still want to hear from interested masseurs for these jobs. Masseurs will work in teams of 2 at busy cafes through out the city centre in late Jan / early Feb. Please come along to the open meeting on 21st January for a full briefing.
  • We are looking at expanding our proposal for massages with QANTAS and would be interested to hear from any masseurs interested in working at the airport as a regular position. Dates to be confirmed.
  • In February and March we will need a team of several masseurs to run a massage stall at a Health Expo being held at Westpac.
Pilates / Yoga / Tai Chi Demonstration and Stress Seminars
  • At the Westpac Health Expos (Feb and March) we will also be looking for one of our practitioners to do a Pilates / Yoga / Tai Chi demonstration in front of a small crowd.
  • We will also train the same person up to do teach our 30-Second Stress Buster Techniques and work on our Stress stall during the day too.
  • If you are interested please contact us.
Details Of Our Next Open Meeting
Sydney
  • On To help us get ready for the massage promotion, and to brief new practitioners, we will be holding another meeting on Friday 21st January 2005, at 10.30am.
  • This time it will be at the Nature Care College, 79 Lithgow Street, St Leonards, telephone 9438 3333. We will confirm the exact room via email nearer the time, or you can ask at the main administration office on the first floor when you get there.
  • If arriving by train go through the underpass under Pacific Highway and you pop up right outside the College. If driving – please allow plenty of time to find a parking space. Sometimes you are lucky to get a spot right outside the building and sometimes you have to look around. Duntroon Avenue on the other side of the railway line often has spaces if you are stuck. Wilson’s parking in Nicholson Street also has a discounted rate for attendees at Nature Care. After, our meeting pop into the Admin office and get a parking slip, which will entitle you to pay $9 for parking there.
Melbourne
  • We will be holding a meeting for our Melbourne Practitioners in February. Does anyone know any good (and not too expensive) meeting rooms or venues that are central? Date for the meeting will be confirmed in the next newsletter.
Spread The Word
  • We are always looking for new practitioners.
  • This month in particular we would like to hear from more masseurs, martial artists and Tai Chi instructors.
  • If you have any friends or colleagues who are qualified, insured, and who have their own ABN number. Please pass this newsletter onto them or ask them to log onto the Practitioners page of our website: www.zenatwork.com.au
