Thought for the day
"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!" Anon.
News from Zen At Work
Stress Seminars - Seminars have recently been presented to The Commonwealth Bank (Sydney), The Australian Credit Union (Adelaide), and MBF (Sydney). They all went down well, and some of the delegates talked about rebooking in the New Year.
- Workshops have been booked for next year for the 9th Annual Call Centre Conference (Sydney), the Annual CMA meeting (Melbourne), the IT Help Desk Forum (Brisbane).
Yoga- Virgin Mobile have just finished their first course of yoga classes. Thanks to Tina for stepping in to fill in for one of the classes. The attendees loved the classes and want to rebook for next year.
Massage- The Commonwealth Bank asked us to do massages for one of their meetings recently, but we missed out as our admin wasn't up to scratch and we weren't quick enough off the mark! We have learned our lesson and improved our processes.
Pilates- A large medical centre in Sydney has asked for private lessons for just two attendees. We have given them prices and are awaiting feedback.
Forthcoming jobs and opportunities
Massage: Sydney- In December we will be promoting our massage services by doing free head, neck and shoulder massages for staff and customers at some of the busy sandwich shops in the CBD and North Sydney. Zen At Work will be paying $40 per hour to masseurs who will work in teams of two. We are hoping to organise some publicity (press and TV), so if you are interested please contact us by email info@zenatwork.com.au or phone: 02 9999 6513.
- We are also in the process of organising some promotional work with QANTAS. Again the intention is that masseurs will do free head, neck and shoulder massages to business people in the QANTAS Club Lounge at the domestic terminal of Sydney airport. Zen At Work will pay $40 per hour to masseurs who will work in teams of two. If you are interested please contact us by email info@zenatwork.com.au or phone: 02 9999 6513.
Details of our next open meeting: Tuesday 23rd November
Sydney- We will be holding an open meeting that all Sydney based practitioners can attend. The aim of the meeting will be to get to know you and for you to meet Anne (the Director), as well as explaining how we work in more detail.
- The meeting will start at 10.30am in one of the meeting rooms at The King George V Recreation Centre, in Cumberland Street, The Rocks (telephone 02 9244 3600). They are a 5 - 10 minute walk straight down York / Cumberland Street from Wynyard Station. It should last approximately one hour.
- If you are able to attend, please confirm via email info@zenatwork.com.au or by phone 02 9999 6513. This will ensure that we have the right sized room and number of chairs for people.
- If you are based in Sydney, but unable to attend please let us know as well, and we will try to organise an alternative date if there are enough numbers.
Other capital cities- We are currently doing an advertising push in Sydney. However, in the first quarter next year we will focus on Melbourne too.
- As other opportunities arise, we will be expanding work into the other capital cities too, so please stay in touch. You never know what the universe has in line for you!
Spread the word- We are always looking for new practitioners.
- This month in particular we would like to hear from more masseurs.
- If you have any friends or colleagues who are qualified, insured and have their own ABN number. Please pass this newsletter onto them or ask them to log onto our website www.zenatwork.com.au
